Genuine Leather!

Made from solid wood, the body of this box is finished in a beautiful, genuine leather veneer. The handle and feet are very ornate and fashioned from solid brass as are the latch and hinges. A close look reveals that the brass feet are actually winged cherubs! The base is ornately carved wood which has been stained in a deep brown which matches the leather perfectly.

Hidden inside the lid of the box is a functioning clock housed in a wooden frame. When the box is open the clock comes down on hinges and sits on a ledge in the lower front of the base. The clock requires one AA battery which is not included.
